CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

We are all about creating a fun and safe space where kids can discover the love of Jesus. We have our best volunteers in the Children's Ministry led by Nina Wang. She has a Masters in Spiritual Formation from Talbot Seminary and has pastored children for over 9 years. Nina has also hosted radio programs for Kids, with over 100 broadcasted devotionals.

We have different classes from toddlers to 6th graders, in order to have age-appropriate approaches to help them learn about Jesus and to build friendships with other kids in the same age group. We'd love for your family to come out to our Children's Ministry. They'll have tons of fun and learn about Jesus!!!

SPECIAL NEEDS MINISTRY

Our Special Needs Ministry focuses on God’s love for the special needs community, friendship, and fun! We want to create a space that connects individuals with special needs to the church. This is accomplished by building friendships in a safe and structured environment. We have monthly social events that range from a fashion show to dance parties and even miniature golf!

This ministry is led by Danielle Gianni who has worked in special education for over two years. She is accompanied by Chrissie Chang, a wonderful well-educated leader of Renew Church, who has twenty two years of experience with special education. We have a Core team that meets once a month to plan the events, discuss information about the ministry, and pray for God’s vision to continue to bloom over this ministry.  For our events, we have several amazing volunteers that show up and just have a blast with our individuals with special needs. We would love for you to come join in our fun! Guaranteed this ministry will warm your heart in so many ways!

YOUTH

Renew Youth is all about creating a space for our youth to explore and engage faith in Christ. We have a great group of volunteers who are dedicated to faithful teaching of God’s Word. Our youth leaders aim to facilitate a space that allows our youth explore all the questions in faith that come up in this time of life and generation.

Our ministry believes in seeing the youth’s integration into the larger church life. Through partnership with parents and families here at Renew, we can lead and teach our youth to always love Jesus first, love each other, love people, and continually discover more about themselves and their identity in God. Let’s partner together in preparing our youth for a faithful life and witness in Christ both inside and outside of church life!

Renew Youth is split into two groups: middle school (6-8) and high school (9-12).
Students from all over Placentia, Fullerton, Yorba Linda and Brea.
Join us Fridays for our weekly Youth Friday Night Bible Study at 7PM
Join us Sundays for our weekly Youth Service Watch Party at 10:30AM.

COLLEGE

Renew College is dedicated to growing students into passionate disciples of Christ. College is an important season for spiritual formation and commitment to God. Our goal is to invest our resources into the Lord’s family as well as future Christians through worship, fellowship, prayer, evangelism, and Bible study. Renew College has the privilege of serving 7 major college campuses in Orange County. We would love for you to join us!

Our college ministry meets every Thursday at 7:30PM

Young Adult

Our Young Adult group is a place for members of the community to come together in a place where they can learn to walk together as members of the family of Christ through the challenges that young adults often face. We dive into Scripture in a way that equips and trains members of each small group to eventually be able to do so in their own personal times of devotions. Fellowship with other young adults as we learn to live Christ centered lives in the midst of careers, graduate school, and finding purpose.

Join us as we go through inductive study, learning to read, digest, and comprehend Sunday’s passages ahead of time in order to have a more rich context during the Sunday sermon and how to live out the Scripture’s lessons in our lives today.

Our Young Adult ministry has two groups, one that meets every Tuesday at 7:30PM and one that meets every Thursday at 7:30PM.

Married & Families

The Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19-20 is the goal of family ministry. We want to obey the call of making disciples out of every person that we come into contact with. We want to focus on the families that God brings into our church. Our process is to GROW, SHOW, and GO. 

1. GROW: Our ministry endeavors to facilitate spiritual growth where every person is growing in the christian faith

2. SHOW: Our ministry strives to give men and women an opportunity to display and use their God given gifts for the benefit of the community.

3. GO: Our ministry aspires to reach out to the families in the North OC area with the good news of Jesus Christ

As the Holy Spirit empowers us, we desire to fulfill that command to develop deep disciples among our families.

Called to be project

A small team at Renew with Pastor Wilson launched "Called to be Project". We are a 501c non-profit that exists to publish children's books and journals that will help people find their calling and join in on God's Redemptive story.

Profits will support the foster community by raising financial assistance for adoption, foster summer camps through Royal Families and transitional homes with OC United.
